Microwave moisture measurement
Microwave moisture meters are highly versatile. They are the optimal choice of sensor if the product changes are frequent or where recycled paper is used.
Measuring using microwave technology is based on the dielectric property of materials. As water has a much higher dielectric constant than cellulose, the proportion of moisture in the paper sheet is strongly reflected in its dielectric constant. This effect can be measured using microwave technology.
