QCS for Impregnated paper
Scienta online QCS are total concepts designed to create value. For some the value is in the even end-product quality, for others it is in the savings created by minimizing waste and optimizing production efficiency.
All large melamine and phenolic resin impregnators in the world use online QCS today, whereas the medium size to smaller players are only now becoming aware of the necessity to produce more efficiently and be able to produce and provide evidence of even quality.
Some are discouraged by earlier unsuccessful installations by manufacturers with inferior and insufficient technology. Whereas this is understandable, it does not change the fact that those, who have chosen Scienta, are realizing substantial benefits and cannot think of going back to the old methodology of manual sampling.
Not only is it important to come up with the best possible solution BUT it's of great essence to resolve the right problems! We discourage our clients from buying features they don't need.
There are indisputable arguments for the benefit of online QCS:
| (1) |
online QCS processes more samples in 5 minutes than the manual method in one week. In other words: 40 000 vs 20 samples per hour. Don't kid yourself, it makes heck of a difference. |
| (2) |
the process is continually, immediately and automatically corrected as a reflection of actual measurement data and deviations from default settings. |
| (3) |
the quality is recorded providing proof of produced quality and enabling implementation of quality standards. |
| (4) |
raw material usage is optimized and waste minimized. |
| (5) |
the process is managed proactively, problems with production line detected in advance and no waste is created during grade changes as in-spec quality is detected immediately. |
